We recently blogged about some new features in the upcoming new release. As promised in that post, here are some additional details about what you can expect in the ClickDimensions April 2016 new release.
This release includes a few new features that we are releasing as BETA previews. BETA features are in their first iteration and may encounter issues when used at scale in production, so we would love to hear your feedback on how well they work for you and if you encounter any specific issues with these features. To provide feedback on the BETA features included in this release, you can submit a support request. Please provide our team with as much detail as possible – screenshots, error messages and any other information will be very helpful as we finalize these features for upcoming releases.
The schedule for the release is as follows (but is subject to change):
European Datacenter: Monday, April 4, 2016
U.S. Datacenter: Monday, April 11, 2016
Australian Datacenter: Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (this date has been updated from the original scheduled date)
Below are some new campaign automation features that will be included in this release. (Note: these features are not available for CRM 4)
- There will be a new tab in the campaign automation builder labeled Participants. This is a list of all the participants in a campaign automation, the status of the particular instance and more. This feature will be in BETA.
- From contact and lead records, you will be able to see any campaign automations that individuals have been in or are currently in.
- From either the contact/lead record or the Participants tab in the campaign automation, you will be able to pause, stop and resume individual participation in a campaign automation.
- Clicking on a link in the Timeline column from either of these lists will bring you to a new window with the path for that particular instance. This feature will be in BETA.
- When in a series, saving the series will save the entire campaign automation.
- A few new fields have been added to the email send action:
- You will now be able to select a different email CNAME if you choose.
- You can choose between different email addresses to send the email to (default will be Email Address 1).
We are excited about launching these new features and hope you are too!
I love the new campaign automation improvements! Keep up the good work!
